New Website!
Our website is new and improved! Some things to check out:
Under the “Get Involved” Tab is our new GIVE section. This is where community members and supporters like you can give to tangible needs SFMB has in real-time. It features our Amazon Wish List items which contribute to ongoing survivor support and our street outreach efforts.
We are looking for staff and interns! Visit the “Work with Us” tab to read about job opportunities and to apply.
SFMB Apparel! Click the SHOP tab and find our new SFMB t-shirts and hoodies for sale.
Survivor Support
SFMB is honored to be serving multiple local survivors with ongoing case management services and continuing our partnership with the Equine Healing Collaborative. Our clients receive weekly check-ins with our Program Coordinator, Ashley, who assists them in navigating system barriers and life’s challenges. They also attend weekly equine therapy through the EHC. We are so honored to be walking alongside these women as they pursue healing outside of the life of exploitation.
We cannot achieve this milestone without your help. If you or someone you know has a residence available for rent or purchase, or if you are able to make a financial donation towards purchasing a property, please contact our Executive Director, Garreth, at garreth@setfreemontereybay.org.
Board Positions
SFMB is currently looking for individuals interested in joining our Board of Directors. If you are committed to SFMB's mission to assist human trafficking survivors and are interested in serving at the Board level, please send an inquiry to michaelg@setfreemonterybay.org.
Please take a minute to read the bios of our current board of directors by visiting the button below.
This in-person training will cover human trafficking 101, trauma-informed care and practices, and update trainees on what SFMB needs in terms of staff, volunteers, and tangible ways to serve. By attending you will be gifted a certificate of completion which allows you to work with our clients/residents for one year.
This training is for all who hope to one day work, volunteer, and be a part of our restoration program. This training is for service providers, class facilitators, mentors, and those that are curious and want to know more. We encourage you to come if you have a skill you would like to share with our ladies, are interested in running classes, mentorship/sponsorship, or want to learn more about our organization.
