Meeting Needs to Bring Healing and Freedom

We Surpassed Our Goal!

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve raised $31,994.90 to surpass our goal of raising $25,000 in the first 25 days of December. Your financial contributions unlocked more opportunities for survivors of human trafficking. Your donation has:

  • Provided Christmas gifts and made this year’s celebration a very special holiday for our residents and out-patient clients

  • Provided critical resources for survivors on their journey to healing

  • Expanded our outreach and education programs in the community

  • Strengthened our training and advocacy efforts to fight trafficking at the local level

Thank you to all our donors for everything you’ve done for Set Free Monterey Bay. Your support has been nothing short of inspiring, and we are so grateful to have you on this journey with us.

Become a Defender!

Become a Defender!

Our monthly donors are called “Defenders” because because, through your giving, you are serving as a defender of healing, freedom, and opportunity for survivors.

If you would like to join us in this way, set up your monthly donation of $25 or more today!

Opportunities to Give

In addition to financial giving, there are more ways to bless a survivor in their time of need. Meeting basic needs and providing tangible resources can help women take positive steps towards healing and freedom. Check out the information and contacts below to see how you can help today!

  • Gift Cards

Gift cards are a great way for us to help survivors meet ongoing needs such as gas, food, clothing, and medication. Examples of helpful gift cards are: Gas Stations, Lucky, Rite Aid, CVS, Grocery Outlet, Walmart, Target, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Kohl’s, Ross, Restaurants, Coffee Shops and Fast Food Restaurants.

  • Housing & Safe Night App

Many of our clients are in need of housing. With the Safe Night App (available in the Apple Store or Google Play), you can sponsor one or more nights in a local hotel. This can often be a beautiful opportunity for an evening of relief and safety for a survivor in crisis.

  • Current Needs

Vehicle Donations are a unique and impactful giving option that helps Set Free Monterey Bay support survivors of human trafficking.

Your unwanted car, truck, boat, motorcycle, SUV, or even plane can be accepted as a donation.

Your generosity qualifies for a tax deduction and we’ll do all the heavy lifting. The pick-up is free and we’ll schedule it during a time that’s convenient for you. Call 855-500-RIDE (7433) now or visit This Link to get started

We accept all kinds of vehicles in any condition; running or not!

  • Basic Needs & Amazon Wish List

Daily necessities such as cleaning supplies, paper towels, hand and dish soap, new women’s underwear, bras, and socks, among other items. Warm jackets and blankets are always helpful too. You can check out our Amazon Wish List of specific items that our current clients need. If you have some items that are not currently on the list but you would like to donate, please reach out to Ashley with questions and more information.

Join the Movement and invest in the mission!

Between June 10 and July 20, our goal was to raise $40,000! The $40K in 40 Days campaign was a time in which the Set Free community came together to fund one month of operations in our home as well as prevention and training efforts. Our total raised towards the goal is $40,915!

We are so grateful for all 70 donors who contributed to this campaign! Our board and founding members sponsored a $10,000 matching campaign for our community because we believe in Set Free Monterey Bay's mission. We see firsthand the life-giving impact of the restoration home staff and faith-based program. The stories you've seen on social media are just a few of the many powerful reflections from our residents and outpatient clients, which is what inspires us to continue in this work!

SFMB has been instrumental in my healing journey.

I can’t wait to see more women saved and be set free from abuse.
