From Humble Beginnings

In 2018, Set Free Monterey Bay began its work with a budget of less than $200,000 and an unwavering faith in God’s provision. Today, nearly seven years later, Set Free Monterey Bay’s budget has more than doubled to $750,000 per year, thanks to the generous support of our donors. What does this mean in terms of impact? More survivors housed, more teens reached, and more community brought into the anti-trafficking movement.

Our latest 2024–25 Annual Report highlights some of the tangible differences we are making in our community and beyond. As the industry of exploitation evolves, so do we, responsive to survivors needs and anchored in our mission to fight human trafficking through prevention, awareness, and survivor restoration.

Over the last two years, we have seen:

  • Over $1.3 million went towards programs
  • Over 75% of our funds raised by individuals, local organizations, and local events

With the community’s support, we are growing every year!

“I’ve lost so many years. But by doing this program I am investing in myself, my future. I have hope now. Which is some thing I have never had. I’m finding out who I am.”
