Restoring Hope Together

The third annual Set Free Monterey Bay Fundraiser was a powerful event, an evening filled with impactful survivor stories, hard-hitting trafficking statistics, and most of all hope.

In terms of community engagement, the night was a huge success. In a room filled with 250 people, we could not have been more encouraged at the way our community showed up to support SFMB. In addition to financial support, which fuels our sustainability, we were overwhelmed by the inspiring conversations filled with strong desires to make an impact for good. Our theme for the evening was Restoring Hope, and no other phrase can capture more accurately what happened that night.

In case you were wondering, we raised $56,000 of our $100,000 end of the year campaign, and that number continues to rise. If you did not get a chance to partner with us, it is not too late to contribute in support of our goal. Thank you so much for generously investing in the work of restoring hope to survivors of human trafficking.

Thank You’s

We have so many thank you’s to offer, and we want to celebrate the ways in which our community stepped up to support survivors of human trafficking.

Our gracious hosts, Shoreline Church

We’d like to say a special thank you to Shoreline Church for hosting us! It was a powerful experience to be able to tell the stories of how far SFMB has come since the beginning while standing in the same space where it all got started in 2018. We are so grateful for your partnership.

Our amazing volunteer team

We also had the support of over 50 volunteers to make this event possible. Whether you were a local student, retiree, church or community club member, or even a concerned citizen, you made a difference. We could not have done this without you, and we are so encouraged by our community’s response in this way. We’d also like to thank the Fundraiser Planning Committee who has been working diligently this year to prepare for an amazing night!

VIP Table Hosts

As a VIP table host, you filled the room with your friends and family who have now become a part of the SFMB story. We are so glad you could join us and are inspired by your generosity!
