Monterey County Human Trafficking Symposium

Thursday, May 23rd, 2024

9:00am-3:30pm
Monterey Peninsula College
980 Fremont St, Monterey, CA 93940

Join us learn about human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of children in Monterey County. All educators, law enforcement, first responders, hospitality workers, community-based organizations, advocates, social services providers, and child services professionals are welcome. This year’s keynote speaker is Jesse Leon, author of “I’m Not Broken: A Memoir” and “No Estoy Roto: Una Memoria,” social impact consultant and non-Profits Certified diversity coach. The survivor panel will be a powerful session, and Set Free Monterey Bay’s very own Director of Housing, Amber Van Hoose, will be leading a workshop at this event. You don’t want to miss it!

Register here for the symposium and lunch.
