Community Change Begins with Community Businesses.

Be a part of the solution against Human Trafficking on the Monterey Peninsula.

Community change begins with community-based businesses. At Set Free Monterey Bay, we know that in order for there to be lasting change on the Monterey Peninsula, local businesses must be involved in rooting out and standing against human trafficking in all of it’s various forms.

Set Free Monterey Bay believes wholeheartedly in modeling for survivors a new way to live. This often starts with employment. SFMB has training for businesses on what it means to employ those with lived experience and how much of an impact that decision can make on the trajectory of their life.

If you are in hospitality, human services, or even a first responder we want to partner with you and create a safer community.

Equipping Training Community Leaders

Law enforcement, political leaders, and educators are some of the community leaders we train to respond effectively and compassionately to human trafficking. As those on the front lines fighting trafficking, it is vital for these leaders to be trained so they can participate in broader movements of justice and restoration. Trainings are focused on identification and response protocols for those who may encounter trafficking victims in our community.
